Using the Make Query Table Tool

You may need read only access to data stored in an enterprise RDBMS like Oracle. You can also connect to personal and SDE geodatabases. The really useful functionality is the ability to return selected fields from one or more tables in a single table. You can restrict the records returned in your query table with an SQL string. Parcel editing toolbar for editing land parcels (polygons/polylines)

I don't know about you, but I have had to deal with land parcels quite a bit when doing my maps for exploration Leases/GeoPermits. One of the things that I really needed was a way to have the acreage (of the polygon) automatically update whenever I made a change in the geometry of the polygon, esp. if I was working "backwards" from a legal description, and I had to make the polygon "fit" the description.
